Bio and Facts

Hello! My name as you can tell is Phoebe Grace Aseoche or Phoebe for short. I am a rising 11th grader and I go to the Young Women's Leadership of Astoria. My family is desended from the Philippines and I am a Quarter Chinese. I am an only child, and my father passed away when I was 4 months old.



My Interests

Dancing (9 years): Dancing has been my passion since I was about 5 years old. I My mom had enrolled me since my friends were dancing as well and about 3 years ago I made the elite team which had made me love dance even more. Dancing was a way I could express whatever sadness, sassyness, message I held deep inside because I was never clear when explaining my thoughts.

Singing (2 years) & Instruments (4 years): Singing has been very recent for me, I have never sung in front of anyone besides my mother and my best friend. Dance was always my talent and people told me to stick with it. Now I am more comfortable singing. I love learning new instruments such as the piano, violin, ukuele, guitar and more! Music is my safe haven. :)

Photography (2 years): Photohraphy has also been a recent thing, I have loved the idea of capturing moments and holding onto them. While also capturing breathtaking memories that I am afraid of forgetting or losing! Photography has given me an artistic point of view which I am greatful for.

Coding (4 years): In my school Software Engineering Program, I have learned Scratch, Turtle Python, Python, HTML, CSS, p5, Javascript, and a bit of Ruby. I have loved coding since I was in 7th grade. Coding to me was a challenge that was never ending because I loved relearning and learning always! My teacher always challenged me which made me realize my passion for coding.

My Favorite....

My Favorite movies would be Pride & Prejudice and the Kissing Booth Series if we are talking romance. My Favorite shows would be Shadow Huneters, Any Superhero Movies (The Flash, Supergirl, The Arrow, Marvel, DC, etc.) BIG Fan of fantasy and superheros! But mostly Romcoms!

My favorite book is hard because I have a new infatuation every week. Maybe the Mortal Instruments and the Divergent Series which are also dystopian and fantasy with a fair share of romantics!

My Favorite Songs constantly change every week which is why my playlist is about 700-900 songs liked for the past year! However, This week it is Ruin My Life by Zara Larsson, Body Back by Gryffin & Maia Wright and ofc Any song from 2012 and up or down! These songs are both evnergetic and chill!

My Favorite Artists and Bands are more consistant but still change rapidly. In the current moment, it is New Hope Club, Why Don't We, The Drax Project for bands and for artists Lauv, James Author, Julia Michaels. Their bios are linked! You should give them a listen!
